Private tutor in Garden City, NY

Education

BS in Computational Mathematics from Rochester Institute of Technology (2015); MS in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University (2018); Current Ph.D. student in Applied Mathematics at Stony Brook University.

Experience

Since the first semester of college, ten years ago, I have loved tutoring. Seeing students experience that "Ah-ha" moment is the most enjoyable part of being a tutor. For the five years of my undergraduate education, I was always tutoring for the math department. I was also a TA for a number of first year math courses. Currently, I teach a course in C programming through work and I am a TA for Stony Brook University where I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics. I also hold both a BS and MS in mathematics. So, I've taken classes that range from Calculus I and Differential Equations, to Graph Theory, Stochastic Processes and beyond. Topics I would be most comfortable tutoring in are Probability, Calculus, Algebra, trigonometry, Linear Algebra, and discrete mathematics.
